Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson for an entry-level, front-line role that supports the DIY customer. The position can be part-time or full-time, with learning opportunities in store systems, inventory management and basic automotive knowledge while meeting sales goals.

You will assist customers in person and by phone, perform DIY services such as battery testing and wiper installations, and help maintain all store standards. Flexibility for days, evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals.
• Perform DIY services such as battery testing, wiper installations, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock and related tasks.
