Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service goals. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, with duties including battery testing/installation, wiper installs, and maintaining inventory. Ideal candidates communicate well, work flexible hours, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Entry level sales position; 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Ability to operate inventory and POS systems.
• English communication; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
