Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business, achieve sales objectives, and provide excellent customer service in-store and over the phone.

You will use store systems to source parts, maintain inventory, and perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements. The role can be part-time or full-time, requiring reliability, basic automotive knowledge, and flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Experience using store inventory processes and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking; safely deliver parts to customers as needed
