Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

Part-time or full-time options are available, with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales goals, performing DIY services, and maintaining inventory and store

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Basic knowledge of store systems and parts inventory.
• Flexible to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
