Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

It can be part time or full time, with safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, achieving sales goals, performing DIY services, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in English, with Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogues.
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions and inventory.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in store and via phone.
• Meet personal sales goals and assist store in achieving overall targets.
• Perform DIY services like battery installation and wiper changes.
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including stocking and cycle counts.
• Keep store clean and organized; Safely deliver parts to customers when needed.
