Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from various channels.

Part-time or full-time options are available, with safety certification preferred. Key duties include assisting customers in-store and over the phone, driving sales, performing DIY services such as battery installations, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and manuals.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installations and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
