Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and inventory processes.

It can be part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include assisting DIY customers in-store and by phone, delivering battery installations and other services, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• English language proficiency; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
