Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source from various channels.

Part-time or full-time options are available, with fleet safety certification preferred. The Salesperson will deliver excellent customer service, reach sales goals, perform DIY services, and maintain inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic instructions and safety rules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and on the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet overall targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product presentation and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including put-away, cycle counts, and back stock.
