Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales targets. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and strong customer service. You may source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers while assisting with deliveries and in-store tasks.

You will handle batteries, wipers, and related services, perform inventory duties, and maintain clean, organized aisles. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for units, fractions and decimals.
• Availability to work varied days, evenings, and weekends.
• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet overall targets.
• Provide DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts and back stock.
• Keep store clean, stocked and presentable; assist with stocking and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
