Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business. The role covers customer service, basic automotive knowledge, and parts sourcing from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.

It requires knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes, and the position can be part-time or full-time. Responsibilities include assisting customers with battery installations, testing, and wiper installs, while maintaining store standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
