Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with store systems, including parts lookup, battery installation, and other DIY services.

This entry-level position can be part-time or full-time, with responsibilities spanning inventory maintenance, standard operations, and excellent customer interactions. Fleet safety certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Entry-level sales role with ability to learn customer service and sales fundamentals.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of store systems and parts lookup for customer inquiries.
• Read and understand safety rules, operating procedures, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes: truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, and related tasks.
