Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Chicago is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY in-store business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

You will perform DIY services and maintain inventory and store standards. The position can be part-time or full-time; fleet safety certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Perform basic math with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals.
• Provide DIY services: battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
