Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business in our Palatine store. This entry-level role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and strong customer service to drive sales.

Applicants should be able to source parts from various channels and handle inventory processes. The position can be part-time or full-time, with safety certifications preferred as a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Experience with customer service and driving sales in a retail setting.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet its sales targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
