Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems familiarity, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The salesperson will provide excellent customer experiences, work toward personal sales goals, and support both in-store and phone

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking, safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
