Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives in a dynamic retail environment. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Part-time or full-time hours are available, with safety certification preferred. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, perform DIY services like battery

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to use basic math accurately and interpret safety and instruction documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its overall sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, and related tasks.
