Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and reach sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

The position can be part-time or full-time with flexible scheduling. You will participate in battery testing, installations, and other DIY services while maintaining inventory accuracy and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic math skills for transactions and inventory counts.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet its targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards and inventory processes.
• Perform inventory tasks including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, and related duties.
• Keep store clean, including floors, bathrooms, and shelving; assist with stocking.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Operate inventory systems and store equipment.
