Advance Auto Parts Inc. in a retail store is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

The position can be part time or full time, with duties spanning from customer service to inventory control, battery installations, and safe delivery of parts. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Basic math skills for transactions.
Ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

Responsabilités

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
