Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and hit sales/service targets. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

This position can be part time or full time and involves inventory duties and customer service. The role also includes performing DIY services and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the store environment, with flexibility to work various

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for unit conversions and pricing.
• Work a mix of days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Familiarity with inventory and store equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and assist with service tasks.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installs and wiper installs.
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards, including cycle counts.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed and stock shelves.
