Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems proficiency, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Responsibilities include battery installations, battery testing, wiper installations, inventory maintenance, and delivering parts as needed. The position can be part-time or full-time with flexible days including weekends.

Qualifications

Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
Use basic math to perform calculations in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall sales targets.
Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
Maintain store product and operational standards and manage inventory processes.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed and support stock replenishment.
Keep store clean and organized, including floors, bathrooms, and parking area.
