Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, strong customer service, and the ability to operate store systems and handle inventory tasks.

The position can be part time or full time, with responsibilities including battery installations, wiper services, and maintaining store standards. Ideal candidates will be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and have basic math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Excellent selling experience for DIY customers.
• Ability to operate inventory, POS, and parts lookup systems.
• English language skills required; Spanish a plus.
• Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers (in-store and phone).
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store hit sales targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs).
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock).
• Ensure store cleanliness and general stocking and safety.
