Job summary
Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with strong knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive basics. The role can be part-time or full-time and involves delivering excellent customer service, performing DIY services, and maintaining inventory and store standards.
Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of sales experience in retail, basic driving/navigation, and ability to work flexible days.
Qualifications
- Basic driving and navigation abilities.
- Ability to use delivery board system.
- Friendly communication with customers and peers.
- Ability to locate and stock automotive parts.
- Safety knowledge and skills.
- Operate inventory systems and store equipment.
- Know-how of parts and automotive systems.
- Operate POS and parts lookup systems.
- Proficient with testing/diagnostic equipment for DIY services.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers on visits and calls.
- Meet personal sales targets and support store sales goals.
- Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements.
- Maintain store product presentation and housekeeping standards.
- Manage inventory processes including put-away, cycle counts, and back stock.
- Ensure store cleanliness and general stocking tasks.
- Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
