Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business by delivering friendly service, performing battery installations and wiper installations, and assisting customers in selecting the right parts.

You will source from stores, hubs, and suppliers, and leverage store inventory knowledge to aid customer needs. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a diverse retail environment
• Ability to read safety rules, operating manuals, parts catalogs

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store hit sales targets
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
