Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales goals.

The role covers battery installation, wiper services, inventory handling, and in-store operations, with an emphasis on using POS and parts lookup systems. The position offers flexibility as part-time or full-time and requires basic automotive knowledge, driving ability, and the capacity to work during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and build relationships with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately for units of measure and calculations.
• Ability to work a variety of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards and assist with inventory processes.
