Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with strong product knowledge and store system familiarity.

The role involves basic automotive part knowledge, sourcing from stores, hubs, and suppliers, and delivering great customer service in person and over the phone. Responsibilities include performing DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safety standards while supporting sales goals.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and parts lookup.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
