Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

Fleets and safety certifications are preferred. The position may be part time or full time, with responsibilities spanning customer service, inventory control, and basic car service tasks.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals
• Basic math for transactions and stock control
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone
• Achieve personal sales goals and support store targets
• Perform DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock
• Keep store clean and stock organized
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
