Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve our sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive part knowledge, and sourcing from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

This position can be part time or full time. Provide excellent selling experiences for DIY customers, meet personal sales goals, and perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Basic math in all units.
• Available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
