Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source from stores and suppliers.

Part-time or full-time status is possible; fleet safety certification is preferred. Responsibilities include providing an excellent DIY customer experience, achieving sales goals, performing DIY services, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for transactions and inventory counts.
• Able to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers via in-store visits and calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals; assist with DIY services (battery install, wiper installs).
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards; manage stock and back stock.
