Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, delivering excellent customer service and on-site DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements. This role may be part-time or full-time and requires basic knowledge of auto parts, inventory, and store systems.

The candidate will drive personal sales, assist with in-store and phone inquiries, and help maintain cleanliness and stock levels while ensuring safety and accuracy in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer-facing sales roles preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and POS/inventory familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
