Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and by phone, and contribute to achieving store sales goals. The role includes stocking, inventory control, and performing basic DIY services such as battery installation and wiper changes.

The position may be part-time or full-time and requires basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with store systems. Flexibility for varying shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic driving and navigation skills required.
• Ability to use delivery board system and navigate routes effectively.
• Friendly communication and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to locate and stock parts quickly and accurately.
• Safety knowledge and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet overall targets.
• Perform DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain store product presentation and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
