Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

This position can be part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The successful candidate will provide expert DIY services, assist customers by phone and in-person, and maintain inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock.
