Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems familiarity, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

It can be part-time or full-time, with duties spanning customer service, inventory management, and basic DIY services. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of sales experience in retail, strong communication skills, and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Basic automotive knowledge and ability to use store systems.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
