Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Salesperson to support the DIY community by delivering friendly, knowledgeable service in-store and by phone. You will perform basic automotive part lookups, assist customers with parts selection, and execute simple DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements.

The role requires good product knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to navigate store systems.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and parts calculations.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs, and procedures.
• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall targets.
• Provide DIY services like battery installations and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory processes and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers and assist with stocking and order fulfillment.
