Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking anSalesperson to support our DIY customers. The role helps meet store sales goals, offers DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installation, and maintains inventory and store standards.

Candidates should be able to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers, and have basic automotive knowledge. The position supports diverse customers and requires strong communication skills, basic math, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and build relationships with customers and team members.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs, and procedures.
• Use basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal sales goals and help store achieve overall targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installation.
• Maintain store product and operational standards and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
