Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to assist DIY customers in-store and over the phone, helping to reach sales and service targets. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

The position supports battery installations, testing, wiper installs, and other DIY services while maintaining inventory accuracy and clean store standards. Flexible days/evenings/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge and parts lookup skills.
• Ability to use basic math in operation of inventory and sales.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and build customer relationships.
• Ability to work days/evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
