Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring a Salesperson to support the DIY customer base in-store and over the phone. The role emphasizes knowledge of auto parts, customer service, and basic automotive services such as battery installation and wiper replacements.

You will work to achieve personal sales goals while helping the store reach its targets. The position requires knowledge of inventory and store operations, ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers, and effective communication

Qualifications

• English speaking and writing; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Keep store clean and organized; stock and facing tasks.
