Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and by phone, and help achieve sales targets. The role covers basic automotive knowledge, inventory handling, and DIY service tasks such as battery installation and wiper replacement.

Candidates should be able to use POS and parts lookup systems, and communicate effectively with customers and team members. The position can be full-time or part-time, with day-to-evening weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a diverse retail environment with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs, and procedures; basic math proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and via phone.
• Meet personal and store sales goals and support DIY services (battery installation, wiper installs, etc).
• Maintain inventory accuracy; manage truck put away, stock, cycles, back stock, and store cleanliness.
