Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a Salesperson to support the DIY business, drive sales, and deliver service excellence. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, parts lookup skills, and the ability to source from multiple channels to meet customer needs.

You will perform DIY services, manage inventory, and uphold store standards while working an assortment of shifts. Experience in retail sales and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and parts
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers
• Experience using store inventory and inventory processes
• Ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals
• Basic math to handle measurements and pricing

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone
• Achieve personal sales goals and support store targets
• Perform DIY services like battery installations and wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards and inventory
• Handle inventory tasks including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock
• Ensure store cleanliness and proper stocking and back stock management
