Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support DIY customers in-store and by phone. You will help meet sales goals while providing expert assistance on basic automotive parts and services. The role includes stocking, inventory tasks, and delivering parts as needed.

The position emphasizes friendly customer service, accurate use of store systems, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends. Experience in retail sales and basic automotive knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, catalogs and procedures.
Able to use basic math for transactions and stocking tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
