Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. You should have basic automotive knowledge, store systems familiarity, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The role may be part-time or full-time with a focus on accurate inventory and customer service. Expect friendly customer interactions, ability to work varied shifts including weekends, and a willingness to learn parts catalogs and POS

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a diverse retail environment with emphasis on customer service.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs, and procedures.
• Strong communication and basic math skills for transactions and inventory.
• Basic automotive part knowledge and systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in stores and over the phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and assist with service tasks (battery installs, wiper installs, testing).
• Maintain product and operational standards and manage inventory processes.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed and support housekeeping and stocking.
