Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and sourcing from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

It can be part-time or full-time, with a competitive hourly pay in the mid-teens. The position emphasizes customer service, inventory proficiency, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Read and interpret safety rules, instructions, parts catalogs and manuals.
• Basic math for transactions and measurements.
• Ability to work varying shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal sales goals and help the store reach its targets.
• Offer DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product displays and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including stocking and cycle counts.
