Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive systems, and part knowledge, with opportunities for part-time or full-time work.

You will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform DIY services, and help manage inventory and cleanliness to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English; Spanish is a plus.
• Basic math skills and ability to use store systems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Keep store clean and stock parts to meet demand.
