Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business in-store. The role leverages basic automotive knowledge and store systems to assist customers, source parts, and maintain inventory. Part-time or full-time hours may apply, with fleet safety certification preferred.

The position emphasizes customer service, sales achievement, and accurate use of POS and parts lookup systems. Expect days, evenings, and weekend shifts in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• English proficiency; Spanish a plus.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
