Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with friendly, knowledgeable service. This entry-level role helps customers, sources parts, and applies basic automotive knowledge while maintaining inventory and store standards.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with shifts including days, evenings, and weekends. Prior retail sales experience is preferred; safety, driving ability, and strong communication are essential for success at our store.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Proficient in English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic math and reading of safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
