Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY customer, deliver friendly service, and help meet sales goals. You will work with store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and assist customers in person and by phone.

Responsibilities include stocking, inventory cycles, delivering parts as needed, keeping the store clean, and using POS and lookup systems. Flexibility for days and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers and team.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, catalogs and procedures.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply and divide in common units.
• Ability to work varied days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store reach its sales targets.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts and back stock.
