Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and over the phone, and help achieve sales and service objectives.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and accurate parts lookup. Responsibilities include delivering friendly service, stocking and inventory management, processing POS transactions, and supporting safe, efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and parts.
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
