Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert automotive parts knowledge and high‑level customer service in our DIY-focused environment. You will assist customers in person and by phone, perform basic DIY services, and support store operations with inventory and cleanliness tasks.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to locate parts quickly, and familiarity with store systems. ASE P2 certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past transactions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery testing/installations and wiper installations.
• Maintain high customer service and store appearance standards.
• Fulfill key holder responsibilities (opening/closing tasks, safety).
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
