Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert parts knowledge and DIY service to customers in a fast-paced store environment. You will guide customers, perform battery tests and installations, and support inventory and store operations.

The role requires strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and experience with parts lookup systems. ASE certification is preferred. This full-time position offers competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer-service and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installs, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
• Fulfill key holder duties including open/close tasks and safety checks.
• Assist in inventory processes and cycle counts.
