Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to assist DIY customers with parts knowledge and in-store services. You will identify parts, source from multiple channels, and use store systems and parts lookup tools to meet sales and service goals.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license. ASE P2 certification is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability in retail/fulfillment
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs
• English language skills; Spanish a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible days/evenings/weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Handle key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, opening/closing)
• Assist in inventory processes (stocking, cycle counts, back stock)
• Support in-store cleanliness and service delivery
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems
• Utilize diagnostic equipment for DIY services
