Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge and in-store service. The role demands strong automotive systems knowledge, parts lookup proficiency, and the ability to assist customers in person and by phone.

You will identify parts, source orders, and perform basic DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements while maintaining store standards. ASE certification is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• ASE P2 certification or ASE ready equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (open/close duties).
