Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert parts knowledge and high‑level DIY service in store. You will support advanced automotive system knowledge, source parts from multiple channels, and maintain strong relationships with customers.

The role emphasizes accurate inventory management, parts lookup efficiency, and sales performance while upholding safety and store standards. ASE credentials are valued but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
